What is a Seiko mod watch?
A Seiko mod is a custom-built or modified watch. Watcheray combines watch movements with selected aftermarket components. These are independently assembled custom watches; they are not factory Seiko models. Read our brand affiliation information.
Which movements are available?
Movements vary by model. Our catalogue includes NH35 automatic watches, NH34 automatic GMT watches, VK-series meca-quartz chronographs and Seikodate models with Miyota 8285 automatic movements. Check the specification on the product page for the movement in your chosen watch.
Can I build my own watch?
Yes. Start with our watch configurators to explore the combinations available for each model. For a custom logo or a request that is not shown in the builder, contact Watcheray before ordering.
Which case size should I choose?
Consider case diameter, case length, thickness and bracelet fit together. Where a size choice is shown, compare the available options before ordering. The Ladyjust collection is offered in 28mm. Contact us if you need help comparing a specific model with your wrist measurement.
How long does assembly take?
The estimated handling time listed for our made-to-order watch models is generally 3–5 business days before dispatch. Check your chosen product’s information; a specific custom request can require a different timeframe. Shipping time is additional and depends on the destination.
Can I choose the dial logo?
Where shown on the product page, select S-Logo or No Logo before adding the watch to your cart. Available choices depend on the model.
Can I add a premium gold rotor?
The premium gold rotor is an optional upgrade for compatible automatic watches where the option is shown. Selecting it adds the displayed supplement to the watch price. Chronographs and other incompatible models do not use this upgrade.
Can I engrave my watch?
Our engraving service supports text up to 20 characters, including letters, numbers and emojis, on supported glass or stainless steel casebacks. Contact us to confirm the wording and placement.
What warranty is included?
Our warranty policy describes the 2-year warranty, covered defects, exclusions and the support process. Please review it before ordering.
How should I look after my watch?
Follow the watch care guide for crown use, cleaning, storage and water exposure. Water-resistance ratings and care requirements vary; check the information for your model and contact us if you are unsure about its intended use.
